At the Profol GmbH headquarters, TKEZ Architects designed a technology and innovation center that impresses with clear forms and precise integration into the existing site. The upstream, translucent louvered façade lends the building a refined, rhythmic structure while harmoniously embedding it into its surroundings.

The architectural concept draws inspiration from the ultra-thin film strips for whose sustainable production Profol was awarded in 2020. From this guiding motif, the architects developed a dynamic façade system that gives the building a distinctive identity and strong recognizability.
Inside, open and flexibly usable team areas shape the office layouts. Complemented by meeting spaces and communicative “soft work” zones, a work environment emerges that fosters exchange and collaboration while following the principles of New Work.
A key element of the spatial effect is the lighting concept. Among others, the linear Luxsystem luminaire SL 20.3 is used, whose minimalist design language and purist aesthetic create a clear atmosphere. At the same time, it ensures uniform and functional illumination of workplaces and circulation areas.
